terapie omeopatiche e omotossicologiche.

This is the extraordinary story of Navarre the Wolf and six people, six angels that saved him. The facthappened in Italy, in the Emilia Romagna region in the woods in the province of Bologna.
On January 9, 2012, six volunteer operators of the “Centro Tutela e Ricerca Fauna Esotica e Selvatica - Monte Adone”- precisely Rudi, Elisa, Gaia, Lara and 2 vets - after an inhabitant of the area had reported the fact, went to the location along the river Limetra, where the poor animal (an adult male) had been spotted. The wolf was attached to a branch ofthe shore of the icy waters. They named him Navarre.
Navarre was in shock, severe frostbite and malnutrition, and he clearly showed a paresis of the hind limbs.
It was necessary to sedate him using the narcotic rifle. After being shot in the shoulder, the wolf had started swimming to the center of the river, where the current was more strong. The volunteers of the Center began to run along the river, ready to intervene to save him. Indeed, because of the effect of sedative, he was gradually losing consciousness. After finding a passage to enter the river, Elisa, followed by the other volunteers, threw herself into the water and managed to grab him. In spite of the strong current and the extremely slippery bottom, they managed to take the wolf to shore, but the poor creature was in cardio-respiratory arrest.
The doctors gave him cardiac massage and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. After several minutes since the beginning of resuscitation, in front of everybody’s incredulity and emotion, the wolf restarted a regular cardiac and respiratory activity. After being put on the stretcher, he was covered and was given oxygen throughout the transfer.
Navarre and his rescuers were hosted in the house of the man that made the report, in order to look after the wolf and dry and warm him before the journey.
After a few hours, the wolf -who was held under drip and still in a state of hypothermia - managed to take over slowly.
The first days were crucial to the conditions of the animal and made it necessary to keep him in intensive care and watch him day and night.
There were various diagnostic surveys that showed various issues.

The first days were crucial to the conditions of the animal and made it necessary to keep him in intensive care and watch him day and night.
There were various diagnostic surveys that showed various issues.
Indeed, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) highlighted the presence of a disco-vertebral ankylosing spondylitis between the 4th and 5th thoracic vertebra, which is an infectious-inflammatory form that hits the intervertebral disc and the surrounding tissues. This resulted in a spinal cord compression, which is the cause of the paralysis of the hind limb.
The diagnosed disease requested a time of hospitalization, during which the animal must absolutely rest according to a specific therapeutic protocol.
Together with this, in order to follow the usual procedure, the wolf is given homeopathic and homotoxicological therapy in the Centre.
To begin the delicate phase of recovery, the animal is given ozone therapy and acupuncture on a weekly basis. Wolf Navarre’s full recovery will need a rehabilitation program; since the date of his arrival, his management has required a constant effort 24 hours a day.
Navarre is proud and reserved but he accepts treatments with patience, proving day after day a strong temper and a growing desire to live.
After 2 months since his arrival, Wolf Navarre continues his path of recovery and rehabilitation at the "Center Mount Adonis". Given the dramatic conditions upon his arrival, the entire staff is satisfied with the evident progress made. He recovered over 5 kg (11 lbs) in weight, he is healing from mange and his hair is slowly growing back; and also the multiple health issues (bowel, cardiac, uro-genital) are almost totally resolved. In view of the severe paralysis of the hind limbs and the severe muscular atrophy, the greatest satisfaction is to see him walking again and becoming stronger and stronger.
However, Navarre hasn't regained total control and security of movement yet, and this is a necessary condition to considerhis recovery complete and thereby to allow its release into the wild in optimal conditions, which will enable him to take care of himself.
From the psychological point of view, Navarre is picking up the elusive attitudes that are typical of his species, showing a progressive recovery in this sense.
Though aware of the complexity of the situation and the many factors that contribute to the success of this route, the Centre remains engaged in an ambitious project to bring Navarre into nature.
